The 5th Annual Odysseus Hackathon, held in March 2025, was an outstanding success, drawing over 100+ employees to take part in the exciting 24-hour challenge. Participants were split into 6 teams, working enthusiastically to turn their creative concepts into fully functioning applications.
The event journeyed through several phases, including idea scoping, development, testing, and final presentations. Throughout the hackathon, teams benefited from the support of a dedicated group of mentors, including Monish Luthra, Rignesh Dave, Jay Shah, Pramod Navani, and others, who offered valuable guidance along the way. Adding to the vibrant atmosphere, the spirited SoCo Team (Social Committee) kept morale high with their energetic cheerleading.
At the end of the 24 hours, each team proudly presented their solutions to the entire organization and leadership panel.
The winning team, Switro Army, emerged victorious with their project titled “Cruise Recommendations,” which addressed key topic: Cruise Recommendations based on Internal Algorithm and AI based suggestions
The success of the Code Cadets underscores the talent and dedication of the Odysseus employees, showcasing their ability to innovate and collaborate effectively within a challenging timeframe.
